Laura Michele Billings, an assistant district attorney in Manhattan, is to be married today to David Andrew O'Neil, an associate in a law firm.
The Rev. The bride and bridegroom met at Harvard University, where they received their law degrees, he magna cum laude.
Billings, who is 29 and will keep her name, prosecutes white-collar crimes. She graduated magna cum laude from Duke.
Her parents, Ruth and Ronald P. Billings, live in Houston. Her father is a vice president of ExxonMobil there, marketing liquefied natural gas.
He graduated magna cum laude from Princeton. He is a son of Karen and Robert M. O'Neil of Charlottesville, Va.
His mother lookinng the chairwoman of the English department at St. Anne's-Belfield School there and its director of college counseling. His father, who was the president of the University of Virginia from tois a law professor there and the director of the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression, in Charlottesville.
